Designing Durable Tools for Generations

Ralph E. Chapin listened and took note of his customer’s needs while at the family hardware store in Oakfield, NY, back in 1884. When Chapin’s customers came into his hardware store with leaking kerosene cans, he knew he could make something better. A simple can lead to manufacturing storage tanks, pumps, compressed air sprayers, and so much more. Today, Chapin’s one of the world’s largest sprayer manufacturers and we’re still based in Western New York, with branches across the United States and globally. It’s been over a century and we’re still meeting the needs of our customers, by developing new products, coatings, pumpless options, and upgraded features to our current offering. Chapin’s products are used in and around the home, on industrial sites, and in professional landscaping applications around the world.
